Étant arrivé en haut des States, je me suis dis, pourquoi ne pas pousser un peu plus loin et mettre les pieds en Alaska, donc un billet d’avion et me voilà parti pour Anchorage, la ville la plus peuplée de l’Alaska, presque 300 000 milles habitants, mais ce qui m’intéresse par dessus tout,c’est la visite d’un glacier, et oui, avant qu’il n’en reste plus.

Said and done, I took a flight and here I am, on my way to Anchorage, the most populous city in Alaska. Almost 300,000 inhabitants, but what makes me most excited is being able to visit a glacier, unfortunately they are disappearing....
Al haber llegado al Norte de los States, me dije: « Porque no ir un poco más allá y pisar Alaska? Dicho y hecho, cogí un vuelo y aquí estoy, camino a Anchorage, la ciudad más poblada de Alaska. Casi 300000 habitantes, pero lo que más ilusión me hace , es poder visitar un glaciar, Lamentablemente van desapareciendo ….
Temps pluvieux, un crachin Normand toute la journée, quand à la ville d’Anchorage, un vrai désastre, monotone, sale, de dirais même franchement pourri, et puis pour ajouter à tout cela, un nombre incalculable d’ivrognes, donc clochards dans les rues, certain importunant les touristes, car ils se rassemblent tous aux abords du visitor center. Et pour clôturer le tout, un hôtel minable, quand je dis minable, c´est réellement minable, je suis descendu au niveau le plus bas, et comme il est excentré, obligé de prendre le bus, moi qui ai horreur des transports en commun, c’est le summum.
Rainy weather, resembles the chirimiri of the north or the Norman "crachin", fine rain all day. As for the city of Anchorage, it seems to me a disaster, monotonous, dirty, I would say almost disgusting, in addition to a number of drunk "homeless", some bothering tourists as they usually gather around the "visitor's center" the tourism office. To finish off the day, the hotel that I had supposedly booked, the worst I've seen, today I went down to the lowest level, and to add, being on the outskirts of the city, I had to take regular buses, that usually I prefer to avoid.
Tiempo lluvioso, se parece al chirimiri del norte o al « crachin » Normando, lluvia fina todo el día. En cuanto a la ciudad de Anchorage, me parece un desastre, monótona, sucia, diría casi asquerosa, además de una cantidad de « sin techos » borrachos , algunos molestando a los turistas ya que se suelen reunir a los alrededores del « visitor’s center » la oficina de turismo. Para rematar el día, el hotel que supuestamente había reservado, lo peor que he visto, hoy he bajado al nivel más bajo, y por más inri, al estar en las afueras de ciudad, he tenido que coger autobuses de línea, yo que prefiero evitarlos.
Heureusement, que je ne reste que 4 jours, sinon je crois que je ferais une dépression et me lancerais dans l’alcoolisme pour oublier, comme le font les gens qui vivent ici.

Tanta suerte que sólo tengo previsto estar por aquí cuatro días, sino , seguro que deprimiría o me lanzaría yo mismo a la bebida para olvidar el lugar…. Estamos en verano y los días son largos, el sol amanece a cosa de las 5,32 y atardece a las 22,37.
Et bien sur, étant au pays du saumon, j’ai été dans un resto recommandé par une personne du visitor center, très aimable, cela dit en passant. C’était bon, mais sans plus, je le prépare mieux chez moi, et en plus, cher. Enfin comme on dit. Une journée de MERDE.
